“Golden Orange Film Festival (Antalya)”
One of the very first works that I created was for the Antalya Golden Orange Film festival, a nation-wide film festival held in Turkey.
What I created were characters who were each part of the film crew in a movie to represent the people who put a whole film festival together. My sculpture installations ranged from the sound engineer on set to the photographer and the filmmaker who is on the set and filming the scene. These sculptures were all made of metal and they were placed in the outdoor area where the audience members of the festival would have entered. These installations marked the location of the festival back in 2010.
